Today, July 1, 2008, Hershey Park announced it's plans to expand The Boardwalk located near Lightning Racers. The park will debut two new water attractions including "The Shore", a giant wave pool featuring cabanas and beach chairs that will provide a beautiful feeling of being at the shore. And the "Intercoastal Waterway", a lazy river navigating around the wave pool. Hershey is calling this expansion, "The Seaquel". With the already existing Tidal Force and Roller Soaker, The Boardwalk will include nine water attractions included in the purchase of a one day admission ticket. Now guests will have the chance to heat up with Fahrenheit, which was built this year and then cool down at The Boardwalk!

At 2 pm on June 28, 2008 a young boy was killed on impact at Batman The Ride at Six Flags Over Georgia. Apparently the boy hopped over two six foot fences into a restricted area. Witnesses state that he was trying to retreive something that he had lost during his ride. Others state that the young boy was trying to touch the ride. When the train had made it's way around the track the young boy was decapitated and killed instantly. The young boy was there on a trip with his church.

While browsing the net last night, I came across the Hershey Park website where a message has been posted for a possible new attraction. The site states, "Something cooler is coming!" Can it be possible that the park will debut its 12th coaster called Celsius to fit the theme of Fahrenheit and cooling down. We can only wait and see what this new addition will be until July 1st as the announcement will then be released.
